cool kids smart debut - really cool, wittily written lyrics, heavily influenced by epmd. same sense of fun and distinct lack of macho crap so prevalent in hip hop today. like a step back to guys rapping about actual real everyday stuff like playing streetfighter with your mates instead of posing in niteclubs. its lighthearted but the sound is solid n kicks throughout. restored my faith in hip hop cos it really had started to suck recently.
Hipster Hip Hop at it s finest - Great album, 10 solid unskippable songs.I loved it. Gave it 4 stars only cause unfortunately, the album get s bored quite fast. The first couple of listens serve up a treat though. Listen out for:What it is (best track)Gold and a pager
